The Stanley Cup Final schedule has been released with the first game slated to go on Monday, May 30. The series will not go on an every-other-day basis, meaning we’ll have hockey until at least Monday, June 6. Game seven is scheduled for June 15. You can see the dates for every game below.
Game 1: Monday, May 30
Game 2: Wednesday, June 1
Game 3: Saturday, June 4
Game 4: Monday, June 6
*Game 5: Thursday, June 9
*Game 6: Sunday, June 12
*Game 7: Wednesday, June 15
If the Sharks and Lightning meet in the Stanley Cup Final, San Jose will host the first two games of the series in addition to game seven, if necessary. If San Jose plays the Penguins, Pittsburgh will have home ice advantage. And I assume I speak for everyone when I say that no one cares that St. Louis would have home ice regardless of opponent.
