Sharks at Avalanche, 5/1: Lines, gamethread & how to watch

It’s the final road game of the season and the San Jose Sharks have one game down out of four consecutive games against the Colorado Avalanche. Last night’s shutout saw a goal and an assist each from Gabriel Landeskog, Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen, with the first two coming on consecutive power play opportunities.

The Avalanche may be forced into a wonky lineup of 13 forwards and six defenders, after defenders Samuel Girard and Ryan Graves were both injured last night. Devan Dubnyk will start in net for the Avs, marking his first appearance against San Jose since they traded him ahead of the 2021 deadline. He has two wins and two losses with Colorado so far.
