The Sharks wrap up the two-game road trip in a Sunday matchup with another division rival – the Anaheim Ducks. San Jose is still looking for scoring after becoming the latest victim of the league-leading Vegas Golden Knights. The 5-0 shutout on Friday did not help the Sharks shake the image of worst team in the league.
Meanwhile, the Anaheim Ducks are looking good to start the season. The Ducks are fourth in the Pacific Division with 14 points. The team got to the position by reeling off six wins in a row. However, Anaheim has cooled off since then, having lost two in a row. The Ducks will look to start a new winning streak tonight.
As part of the team’s 30th anniversary, Anaheim will host legacy night tonight at Honda Center. The night includes a Paul Kariya bobblehead.
We are taking a tour through our eras.

San Jose Sharks lines
The Sharks will still be without Anthony Duclair. The forward was too ill for Friday’s game in Vegas and appears to be too sick for tonight as well. Look for Oskar Lindblom to be back in the lineup.
Here are the projected lines courtesy of the Daily Faceoff:
Forwards
William Eklund – Tomas Hertl – Fabian Zetterlund
Filip Zadina – Mikael Granlund – Luke Kunin
Oskar Lindblom – Nico Sturm – Kevin Labanc
Givani Smith – Ryan Carpenter – Mike Hoffman
Defensemen
Mario Ferraro – Calen Addison
Marc-Edouard Vlasic – Kyle Burroughs
Jan Rutta – Nikita Okhotiuk
Goaltenders
Mackenzie Blackwood
Kaapo Kahkonen
Anaheim Ducks lines
The Daily Faceoff has Leo Carlsson in the lineup for tonight, but the site is basing things off of the last game. It’s hard to say if the second-overall pick in this year’s draft will play. The Ducks have been sticking to a schedule to keep Carlsson fresh, so he will only play if today was circled on that schedule. That said, the 18-year-old scored his first NHL hat trick against the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday night. Unfortunately for the Ducks, Carlsson was the only player to for the team and Anaheim lost 6-3.
Forwards
Alex Killorn – Leo Carlsson – Troy Terry
Frank Vatrano – Mason McTavish – Ryan Strome
Max Jones – Adam Henrique – Jakob Silfverberg
Ross Johnston – Sam Carrick – Brett Leason
Defensemen
Cam Fowler – Jackson Lacombe
Pavel Mintyukov – Ilya Lyubushkin
Urho Vaakanainen – Radko Gudas
Goaltenders
John Gibson
Lukas Dostal
