Sharks at Wild (game 72): Lines, game thread and how to watch

The San Jose Sharks are in Minnesota today for the first of two games on the road. Stop one is Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, where the Sharks will visit the Wild. This is the second of three meetings between the Wild and the Sharks this season. The Wild will be in San Jose on April 13 for the final game of the season at SAP Center. The last time the two teams met was on March 3, when the Wild beat the Sharks 4-3. Kirill Kaprizov had a hat trick in that game.

The Wild aren’t mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but it looks like a massive uphill battle. Minnesota’s overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday didn’t help matters. Currently, the Wild are nine points behind the Vegas Golden Knights for the second wild card spot. While it’s still mathematically possible for the Wild to sneak into the playoffs, the window is getting slim.

Kaprizov is the team’s top scorer with 79 points and 39 goals.
