Sharks' seven-game preseason schedule includes trip to Stockton

The Stanley Cup Playoffs ended less than a week ago but details are already starting to trickle out regarding next season's National Hockey League schedule. Today the Sharks announced their seven-game preseason slate which includes home and away contests against division rivals Vancouver, Anaheim and Phoenix Arizona in addition to a home game against Los Angeles. Here's the full schedule:

For the first time since a 2006 game against the Ducks in Fresno, the Sharks will "host" an off-site preseason contest, this time at Stockton Arena, home of the ECHL's Stockton Thunder. The game will feature a split-squad Sharks team as the other half of the roster will be facing their Canuck counterparts in British Columbia. The full regular season schedule is reportedly set to be released this Sunday.
