Sharks vs. Ducks preview: No better way to ring in the new year than a win over Anaheim
In the second half of their year-ending back-to-back the Sharks travel to Anaheim to take on the Ducks.
Tonight the Sharks will close out 2014 with their final game at Honda Center this season. The Corey Perry-less, division-leading Ducks notched their first win over San Jose in three tries last Monday in Southern California courtesy a Ryan Kesler overtime winner. The Sharks will hope to stop their skid against division opponents after their loss to Vancouver last night represented their third straight defeat at the hands of a Pacific opponent.

Last Meeting
Melker Karlsson scored his first NHL goal but it wasn't enough as a late third period tally by Cam Fowler and an overtime winner from Ryan Kesler gave the Ducks a come-from-behind win over San Jose at Honda Center last Monday.
