Sharks vs. Flyers preview: Saturday morning hockey

Alex Stalock will get a rare start in net as the Sharks take on the Flyers for a Saturday morning matchup that could have serious draft lottery implications. San Jose starts the day 21st in the NHL’s overall standings, which would likely net them the tenth overall pick were the season to end today. A regulation loss to Philadelphia would close the Flyers, currently 23rd, to within two points of the Sharks. In other words, a loss this morning moves the Sharks just two points ahead of the 8th overall pick and 6% Connor McDavid odds accompanying it.
