Sharks vs. Stars: Lines, gamethread and where to watch

The Sharks and Stars meet for the second time this season and first of two times on this road swing at the American Airlines Center. San Jose beat Dallas 5-1 in the teams’ first meeting and will look to end a two-game losing streak when the puck drops at 5:30 p.m. PT.

Jannik Hansen is not expected to play tonight after leaving Saturday’s game against the Ducks in the third period with an upper body injury. He did make the trip with the Sharks, which is a good sign. Both Danny O’Regan and Timo Meier are expected to play, as is David Schlemko, who has missed the past eight games with a lower body injury.

The lines are a bit of a mystery, so I’ve included my best guess below. The Sharks announced Aaron Dell as the starter in net. Read into these puppies what you will.

Projected Sharks Players

Tomas Hertl – Joe Thornton – Joe Pavelski

Patrick Marleau – Logan Couture – Joel Ward

Joonas Donskoi – Chris Tierney – Mikkel Boedker

Timo Meier – Danny O’Regan – Marcus Sorensen

Paul Martin – Brent Burns

Marc-Edouard Vlasic – Justin Braun

Brenden Dillon – David Schlemko

Aaron Dell

Projected Stars Lines

Remi Elie – Tyler Seguin – Brett Ritchie

Devin Shore – Radek Faksa – Patrick Sharp

Curtis McKenzie – Adam Cracknell – Jiri Hudler
