The NHL expanded its proposal for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement yesterday during meetings with Players’ Association representatives in Toronto. It includes a significant redefinition of what constitutes hockey-related revenue that would, overall, result in a rollback of player salaries by 24%. Under the proposal, Wade Redden would make just $4.9 million next season. [The Globe & Mail]
