Watch Sharks vs. Flames prospects game at Young Stars tournament

Following a 3-2 loss to Vancouver and a 5-3 loss to Winnipeg, the Sharks‘ prospect team looks to finish their Young Stars tournament on a high note this evening during a 5:30 tilt with their counterparts from the Calgary Flames organization. The real Flames are going to be terrible this season but the sampling from their pipeline they’ve brought to Penticton is enviable. It includes uber-prospect Sven Baertschi, 6th overall pick Sean Monahan and fellow 2013 first rounders Morgan Klimchuk and Emile Poirier.

Calgary is undefeated, having outscored Vancouver and Edmonton by a combined 9 goals to 3 thus far in the tournament, so the Sharks certainly have their hands full. San Jose will likely be without defenseman Mirco Mueller, who was crosschecked into the end boards Thursday night and didn’t skate Friday. The Flames’ official website is streaming today’s game and we’ll embed the video here as soon as it goes live.

Edit: Here’s the stream.
