Ducks at Sharks: Lines, gamethread, and where to watch
The NHL is sluggishly waking up from its All-Star coma in St. Louis — or elsewhere, as both the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks are also coming off their bye week, so everybody on the ice should have a nice tan, and no, I’m not at all extremely jealous watching their Instagram stories (yes, I absolutely am).
The Ducks took a small two-game winning streak into their off-week, but have hovered in the basement of the standings all season. The Sharks have been no better, coming off a three-game losing streak, over the span of which they only managed to score four goals.
Another bonus for the Ducks is that this might be the first time all season they’re playing with a fully healthy roster. Aside from Jakob Silfverberg (who will be missing tonight’s game to be with his wife for the birth of their second child), the Ducks’ roster is more or less in tact, whereas the Sharks are still missing top line center and captain Logan Couture.
But hey, it sounds like Team Teal is still gonna fight for a playoff spot until the end and maybe miracles can happen.
Then again, John Gibson. Ugh.
