Barracuda vs. Heat Preview: Chasing a playoff spot
San Jose only needs a point to clinch a playoff spot.
The Barracuda need just one point in their final two games to make the AHL playoffs in their inaugural season. Both of those games come against the Stockton Heat, a team a couple notches lower than the 'Cuda in the standings. While, naturally, most of our focus will be on tonight's Sharks game, make sure to spare a moment to think about the baby Sharks.
San Jose has just one win in its last five contests, a trend the Barracuda will look to reverse against Stockton. Thankfully, the Heat aren't quite the team the Texas Stars were. From SJBarracuda.com, here are the 'Cuda's leading scorers:
