Tonight, the San Jose Sharks play the Pittsburgh Penguins in game six of the Stanley Cup Final. That game, while certainly very important to us all as hockey fans, pales in comparison to the absolutely monstrous act committed in Orlando early this morning.
In an effort to help those affected by this tragedy, Fear the Fin will be donating $1 for every shot on goal tonight to a Florida Equality-run Go Fund Me. Additionally, for every $5 donation made by a Fear the Fin reader will be sent a Fear the Fin sticker. At a time like this, it’s important for us to come together to help those that need it. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the LGBT community around the world, but more importantly we need to act to help those affected while working to ensure a tragedy like this can’t happen again.
