Hockey legend Gordie Howe died on Friday morning and tonight, in the first NHL game played since his death, the Sharks are paying their respects.

San Jose has used giveaway t-shirts to make symbols and messages throughout the series, but it’s nice to see them make a broad gesture given that tonight will be the last time hockey will be played at SAP Center for a few months.
