General Manager Mike Grier has been busy. First it was Radim Simek. Then it was Tomas Herl. Now, it’s Nikita Okhotiuk.
The Sharks have traded Nikita Okhotiuk to the Calgary Flames for a conditional 2024 fifth-round pick. The Sharks will receive the highest of Chicago’s picks at the time of the draft. That’s interesting since it looks like that could be early in the fifth-round.
Okhotiuk was in and out of the lineup throughout this season. He had eight points in 43 games with the Sharks and has played a total of 58 NHL games between the Sharks and the New Jersey Devils.
