San Jose Barracuda need a point in regular season finale
It all comes down to the final game of the regular season.
Following a 5-4 loss to Stockton on Saturday night, the San Jose Barracuda need at least one point against the same Heat team on Sunday afternoon to make the playoffs.
The game, which is at 3 p.m. at SAP Center, is game 68 of the regular season for the Sharks' AHL affiliate. The Barracuda hold an 8-1-0-2 mark against Stockton this season, with last night's loss being the first in regulation to the Heat all season. Now San Jose desperately needs to make sure they don't repeat last night's performance.
A win this afternoon books the Barracuda a date with the division champion Ontario Reign in the first round. You can listen to this afternoon's game with Eric Lindquist on AM 1220 KDOW if you live in the area or at http://www.kdow.biz/ if, like me, you're outside the broadcast range. You can also purchase a one-game pass for this contest if streaming video is what you're about.
