Sharks see drop in season ticket renewals
In unsurprising news, season ticket holders were a little less likely to renew their seats this year.
On one hand, the San Jose Sharks seeing a drop in season ticket renewals is unsurprising. The team didn't make the playoffs for the first time in seemingly forever last season and well, last season wasn't very much fun.
On the other hand, this season will almost certainly be better than last — so maybe these fans should have canceled their tickets two season ago and jumped back on board this year.
Obviously we won't know quite where the Sharks are until the puck is dropped in Los Angeles on Oct. 7, but my guess is that the fans that chose to held on to their season tickets will be glad they did.
