Based on some cosmic flaw in the universe, the Arizona Coyotes are 10-1-2 against the Pacific Division this season. It’s high time the Sharks correct this flaw. Coming off an inexplicable loss to the Ottawa Senators, the Sharks have a chance to get their way back into the win column against another team that just isn’t very good at ice hockey.
Arizona is in the bottom-five of fenwick-for percentage and, thanks mostly to the ineptitude of the Pacific Division, find themselves in a playoff spot halfway through the season. This is the first of five meetings the Sharks will have with the Coyotes in the final 36 games of the regular season.

Know Your Enemy: Five For Howling
Last Meeting
The Sharks managed to lose to the Coyotes last year because last year was garbage.
Storylines
- San Jose is looking to start a new win streak and solidify their position in second in the Pacific Division.
- Tomas Hertl has looked great as of late…scoring a few goals to make up for lost time wouldn’t hurt.
- I can’t believe the Coyotes are in a playoff spot in January. /
