Sharks vs. Maple Leafs: Lines, gamethread and where to watch

San Jose hosts the Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. for the only time during the regular season at SAP Center. The Sharks are coming off a win over the Vancouver Canucks while Toronto arrives on the west coast after losing back-to-back games beyond regulation. The Maple Leafs have played three-straight contests in the extra frame and are riding a four-game point streak while San Jose is on a six-game point streak of its own.

Today’s Sharks lineup, courtesy of Friend of the Blog Kevin Kurz, is a curious one. It features Chris Tierney as the third line center and Micheal Haley as the fourth line C. Marcus Sorensen draws in as the winger of the fourth line while Tomas Hertl plays to the left of Tierney. Why? God only knows. I don’t get paid enough to figure this sh*t out.
