Sharks vs. Rangers: Lines, gamethread and where to watch

The Sharks and Rangers play at SAP Center for the only time during the regular season at 7:30 p.m. PT as San Jose tries to end a six-game losing streak. Team Teal must do so without Logan Couture in the lineup, as the forward will miss an undisclosed amount of time with a face injury after taking a puck to the jaw against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

San Jose recalled Kevin Labanc prior to the game and it appears he’ll get a chance to play over Marcus Sorensen. Head coach Pete DeBoer cautioned the lines won’t be finalized until game time, so today’s projected lines, from Friend of the Blog Kevin Kurz, are not official.

Martin Jones will get the start in net, as will Henrik Lundqvist for the Rangers. Marcus had a great piece on Lundqvist (and Joe Thornton) you should check out if you haven’t already.
