Thursday Chum Bucket: Bulls tickets sell out in minutes
- Free tickets to the San Francisco Bulls vs. Stockton Thunder ECHL game at the Shark Tank next Monday were all claimed within five minutes of them becoming available to the general public yesterday morning. Here's why (apart from the fact that people are starved for hockey). [SF Bulls]
- Potentially good news, everyone! According to Justin Braun's agent, the multiple reports that surfaced on Monday of the Sharks defenseman suffering a hand fracture in Finland were premature. His MRI was inconclusive and, while he has returned to North America, it's possible he could be healthy. [CSN Bay Area]
- Absolutely nothing happened at yesterday's mediator-featuring CBA meetings. Apart from the league issuing yet another ultimatum without a deadline. [Pro Hockey Talk]
- The league apparently considered cancelling games through January 14th before curtailing that to December 31st when the players' association suggested federal mediation. Good thing that turned out so well. [CBC]
- Logan Couture, Steven Stamkos, P.K. Subban, James Neal, Phil Kessel and other NHL stars will participate in a charity game in Toronto on December 19th. [Canada Newswire]
- If you missed it last night, here's Jon Allred's recap of Worcester's 2-1 loss to Connecticut in the franchise's 500th game. [Fear The Fin]
