World Junior Hockey 2016 Schedule: Canada faces Switzerland

Canada takes on Switzerland in one of only two games on the schedule today

After dropping a close game to Sweden 1-0 yesterday, team USA will have a day off today. It'll be a quiet day in Helsinki with only two games on the schedule.

Team Canada and San Jose prospect Rourke Chartier will be in action on the second half of a back-to-back. They'll be facing Switzerland and will see the return of starting goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood from suspension after slashing an opponent in an OHL game earlier this month.

Belarus and Russia will be facing off in the earlier game. Russia will be in a great position to finish first in Group B with a win over last-place Belarus.

Game 1: Belarus vs Russia

Time: 6 AM

TV: NHL Network

Game 2: Switzerland vs Canada

Time: 10 AM

TV: NHL Network
