Sharks vs. Jets Preview: Back at it against the Jets
Following a tough victory against the Flames, San Jose heads to Winnipeg.
San Jose wraps up its two-game road trip with a contest in Hoth's finest city. Assuming the tauntaun's made it to Winnipeg with all of the Sharks gear, San Jose will try to sweep the back-to-back against another toughish Western Conference foe.
The Jets currently sit in seventh in the extremely tough Central Division. They're about middle of the pack in just about every statistical category yo can think of. Their goaltending is average, their shooting is average and their fenwick-for percentage (score adjusted, 5v5) is average. One are they're decisively not average is special teams. Much like the Flames, the Jets enter this game with terrible percentages on both the power play and penalty kill.
Hopefully the Sharks can take better advantage of that tonight than they did on Monday.
My expectation is the Sharks will run the same lines as yesterday and put Alex Stalock in goal. This assumes no injuries — and it's possible Tommy Wingels will take a night off after his collision with Joonas Donskoi last night.

Last Meeting
Brent Burns' power-play tally was the Sharks' only goal against the Jets in a 4-1 loss.
Storylines
- Sharks looking to continue their excellent record on the road. They're just five wins from matching their 2014-15 road win total.
- Alex Stalock will likely get a go in net and it'd be nice for him to have something resembling a good performance.
- Tommy Wingels is questionable for tonight's game after being on the wrong end of a big collision with Joonas Donskoi./
