Sharktoons: Selling The 2014-2015 Sharks

It sure seems like this is true sometimes, right? It doesn’t matter what first you need in the NHL, or if you’re a bottom feeder team that’s languishing in the throws of an 11 game losing streak, when the Sharks come to town all your dreams can, and likely will, come true.

Admittedly it’s been like this for several seasons, but this year it stings even more than usual. It’s one thing to give up first goals to rookies but it’s another thing entirely to lose a game to a team like the Oilers. For a team that didn’t change drastically during the off season, and is much better than the Oilers on paper, it was a hugely deflating blow to an already delicate ego.
